Job Description: Reporting to the Vice President and Chief Program Officer, with cross-functional expectations among all members of the Senior Staff, the Director of Civic Learning and Strategic Partnerships is responsible for using their expertise to lead the development of engaging civic education curriculum and programs as well as deepen existing and cultivate new partnerships within states and nationally with other civic education organizations. They will have suitable experience in the Center’s programs; We the People, and Project Citizen, curriculum design, civic education and social studies standards, inquiry, C3 Framework, best practices in social studies pedagogy, instruction, and assessment, and demonstrate the ability to work productively on multiple projects, often with tight deadlines.
