Our Mission Since 1965
Promoting an enlightened and responsible citizenry committed to democratic principles and actively engaged in the practice of democracy.
Covering the history and principles of constitutional democracy in the United States, this program features a comprehensive curriculum and culminates with simulated congressional hearings where students testify before a panel of judges acting as members of Congress.
Showcasing democratic practices, this program includes a curriculum designed around a first-hand approach to influencing government policy. Students work together to research their community, design solutions to real problems, and finally, present their proposals to community leaders.
