Judges & Volunteers

Be a part of this impactful event as a volunteer! At the National Invitational, volunteers play a critical role in engaging with students, providing feedback, and ensuring smooth virtual hearings. We truly appreciate your commitment!
Volunteer Roles
  • Judges: Test students' knowledge of constitutional concepts through questioning and provide constructive feedback.
  • Facilitators: Manage technical aspects, ensuring that hearings run smoothly.
Volunteer Responsibilities
Orientation & Proficiency

As a volunteer or judge, you are vital to ensuring the smooth operation of the competition, and your support will directly contribute to the success of the students and the event as a whole.

  • Before the event, volunteers will receive training and orientation that covers relevant information about their roles.
  • All judges are required to attend a mandatory online orientation session, where you will receive in-depth training on the scoring rubric and judging process.
  • All volunteers and judges must show:
    • Proficiency with the Zoom platform is essential.
    • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • The ability to stay calm and manage the flow of events in a virtual environment.
