You have learned that the legislative branch makes our laws. Our national legislature is Congress. In this lesson, you will learn about the powers of Congress. You will learn something about how Congress makes

When you have finished this lesson, you should be able to

  • describe the powers it has,
  • say how its powers are limited, and
  • explain how a law is made.
