Want help solving a community problem? Look to Project Citizen students for guidance and leadership! The 2017 Project Citizen National Showcase displays the know-how of students to solve their own local problems through civic engagement. The showcase took place in Calabasas, CA on July 26 and 27, 2017. Nineteen projects in both the traditional and digital formats were sent in, dealing with a variety of topics from bullying to ending urban blight to combatting second-hand smoke in and around hospitals. The passion and commitment of these students affirms that our comunities are in very good hands. The achievement levels for this years' participants are:

Each portfolio was evaluated three times. Achievement level results are based on the average score of the three rounds of portfolio evaluation during the national showcase.
