Want help solving a community problem? Look to Project Citizen students for guidance and leadership! The 2015 Project Citizen National Showcase displays the know-how of students to solve their own local problems through civic engagement. This year's classes dealt with a wide range of issues, including: too much salt in school lunches, the ill effects of statewide testing on the elementary school level, air quality within their city, and the unhealthy effects of food coloring, just to mention a few topics. Each portfolio was evaluated three times. Achievement level results are based on the average score of the three rounds of portfolio evaluation during the national showcase.
