More than 250 students from 31 countries gathered in Washington, D.C.,
to participate in Empowering a New Generation for Democracy: The International
Project Citizen Showcase, July 16-17. Project Citizen is an interactive civic
education program developed by the Center for Civic Education that engages young
people around the world in the civic life of their communities.
Learn about these remarkable young men and women and how they make a
