Blackfoot High School Captures Idaho We the People Championship

Students from Blackfoot High School placed first in Idaho’s We the People state finals. Blackfoot Mayor Mike Virtue called the competition “amazing.” “These young people represent the community well,” Virtue told the Blackfoot Morning News.
The students qualify to compete in the 25th Anniversary We the People National Finals April 27-May 1 at George Mason University in Virginia and in Washington, D.C.

Blackfoot High School won the Idaho state We the People title
Glenn Rawson said that because of We the People “students turned into citizens.”
Student student Nesso Forest said that We the People gave him a “great feeling of success.”
