American Judges’ Foundation Makes Major Donation to Support Civic Education

Apr 24, 2019 / Announcements

The Center for Civic Education’s programs have been greatly assisted by the active involvement of judges and justices since its inception. Many judges have given countless hours and days of their personal time over the decades to help the Center to promote high quality education for democracy, and have made significant financial donations that serve our programs.

The American Judges Foundation, which has its roots in the American Judges Association, has been a leader for some years in supporting the Center for Civic Education and recently pledged $7,500 to support the Centers work.

In addition, we want to again acknowledge the generous financial support of the American Judges Foundation, a nonprofit corporation which seeks to promote civic and judicial education, and which has its roots in the American Judges Association, the largest association for judges in North America. AJF has been a leader for some years in supporting the Center and recently pledged another $7,500 to the Center. We will be forever grateful to the AJF for the financial support, as we are grateful to all the judges who contribute individually.
