National Invitational: May 10-11, 2024

The We the People National Invitational is held virtually each spring. Middle and high school classes may elect to attend after participating in a simulated congressional hearing at the school, district, or state levels during the 2023-2024 school year.

Annual National Invitational Awards

Awards will be presented to teams in the two categories: Unit and Top-3.

Top-3 Awards

Presented to the three schools with the highest cumulative scores during the competition.
2024 Top-3 Winners
  • First Place: Nova Middle School
  • Second Place: Miami Arts Studio at Zelda Glazer
  • Third Place: Faith Lutheran—Gold Team

Unit Awards

Presented to the schools achieving the highest cumulative scores, based on performance at the annual National Invitational, in each of the six units of the We the People: The Citizen & the Constitution textbook.

  • Unit 2 Winner: Palmetto Academy for Learning and Success
  • Unit 3 Winner: Fishers Junior High
  • Unit 4 Winner: Faith Lutheran—Maroon Team

  • Unit 6 Winner: J.T. Henley Middle School

Awards Ceremony

The date and time of the next National Invitational Awards Ceremony is currently pending. This special event will include the announcement of the top three teams and unit award winners. The event is live-streamed and recorded for viewing at any time afterwards.
